People with a disability degree of 20% and above and under the age of 55 who have received means for rehabilitation from the National Insurance Institute in one of the rehabilitation tracks and whose rehabilitation has failed - may be entitled to repeat rehabilitation.
Conditions of entitlement:
To receive rehabilitation, they have to meet all the following conditions:
Their medical condition worsened as result of their recognized disability, and prevent them from continue performing their job.
The grounds of their work stoppage are not related to them (for instance, closure of workplace resulting in their layoff or practical inability to keep working in their trained occupation).
The required studies are prerequisites to their hiring or continuation in their current position in the workplace, or these studies are continuing training in their previous field of education, but are not intended for a Master degree nor PhD.
Submitting a claim
To receive approval for repeat rehabilitation, one must contact the Rehabilitation Department's Supreme Appeal Committee, through the their attending rehabilitation worker at the branch.
